Sitges

It is said that the secret of Sitges is based on the microclimate that seems to have • Garraf mountains and the sea wind currents are responsible for maintaining the sky clean of clouds around three hundred days a year. Other people add to its secret: nights, beaches, good communications with Barcelona, tranquillity and, of course, its people. The truth is that when you open the door of Sitges you go into a different lifestyle , Mediterranean, attractive to youth, adults and seniors.
Sitges could be the city that was mentioned in Greek and Roman classical texts located between the old Tarraco and Barcino La Blanca Subur. Although not scientifically proven, the reality is that today, whoever is “Suburense” is tied to Sitges for ever.
Sitges is white, and also blue.
A “sitja” is a container dug into the ground, approximately one meter in diameter and two and a half deep, which was formerly used for storing wheat, barley and oats. It is thought that this could be the origin of the name of the town.

Read the text carefully and give an opinion. Could you add something else? Write 3 or 4 lines.
